Answer
Since Thursday 26th June, on a temporary basis, staff from the Day Care Centre have been providing community and domiciliary services to those clients where the need for those services has been expressed. Two alternative locations for temporary day care services which are appropriate to meet the needs of clients have been secured by the Western Health and Social Care Trust, Strathroy Community Centre and the Larch ‘C' facility at the Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital. These temporary venues will be phased into operation during week commencing Monday 30th June and families will be notified of the appropriate arrangements in the coming days.
The Trust's Estates Department is working vigorously to identify the period of time the Omagh Centre will be unavailable and will do everything possible to have the service fully reinstated as soon as possible.
